We have been involved in Wind Turbine developments since 2009, advising developers and landowners from initial site assessment through to detailed appraisals and submission of planning applications.

Near Fauldhouse, West Lothian – Blueprint Planning negotiated planning permission for the largest single wind turbine (79m to blade tip) in the West Lothian area at that time. Our Client was thrilled: “This is great news. Fantastic.”

North Ayrshire – North Ayrshire Council had refused planning permission for a single turbine near West Kilbride. Blueprint Planning took the case on at that stage and appealed to the Local Review Body (LRB). Our statement of our case persuaded the LRB to uphold the appeal and grant planning permission. Our Client commented: “Brilliant work – well done!”

South Lanarkshire, near Lesmahagow – Blueprint Planning worked with the Local Planning Authority to move the location of the turbine within the proposed site area to allow the development to go ahead without the need for a new planning application, saving our Client time and money – a win-win situation. Our Client was pleased: “Excellent!”

Carmarthenshire, Wales – Blueprint Planning gained planning permission for a wind turbine supporting a dairy farmer near Llanelli. “Thanks for this and well done.”

Carmarthenshire, Wales – Blueprint Planning negotiated planning permission for a 55kW wind turbine within 1km of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park near Narberth.
